How to use the Eon Ticket with the e-Reader and get to Southern Island

Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010

This is me showing how to use the Eon with the Nintendo e-Reader and my Pokemon Ruby game. I wanted to upload this just in case I get my shiny Latias anytime soon and to show I have an actual Eon that I used to get it and that I didn’t cheat to get there or to get it. I got my Eon from Nintendo Power. I’m one of the few people who have the goods to actually do this, so I’m going to SR for a shiny Latias. You can without the Eon , but you have to save before getting the TV confirmation, then you gotta find it, then SR. Which can be a major pain. But with the Eon , it becomes a breeze. So hopefully I can get it shiny soon! And that’s how I got to Southern Island, by Eon !!! In Ruby, the Eon will get you Latias. In Sapphire, it will grant you access to Latios. In Emerald, it’ll give you a chance to catch whichever one you didn’t pick at the TV. (my apologies if the quality really, really sucks on this..) A friend of mine had some trouble sending the Eon data to his game from the . I tried to help him, and we finally figured it out. The problem was the GBA Cable. It was an off-brand cable, one not licensed by Nintendo. Here is his latest message to me: The GBA cable is the problem. I just want to tell everyone that you have to have a GBA LINK CABLE that is NINTENDO MADE! Otherwise what even if you have an Eon E-card you still can’t transfer the data. Just thought that was important enough to point out. Thanks
