Question by Dave: When I try to download adobe acrobat reader I get this message?
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel. How do I do this?

are you trying to update something you do not have? better un-install the acrobat program and then re-install everything. that should work. if not, your firewall may not be allowing it.

hmm I’m not exactly sure what it means. I thought it meant you needed to make a folder for it on your C drive but it should do that on its own.

Double click folder options in the Control Panel (I’m assuming you use Windows XP or something similar). Click the File Types tab. Scroll down till you find PDF. Click the Change button and select Acrobat Reader.
If you don’t have PDF listed, Click New and type PDF in the file extension box.
